Chargers RB Woodhead Out for Season

Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

After a stong start to the season against the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday, Danny Woodhead went downs with a horrible loozing injury against the Jaguars. While running the ball, Woodhead went to make a cut while bracing for a hit. His foot stuck in the turf as he made contact and his knee collapsed under him. The ball squirter out as he fell to the ground grupping his knee.

Today the Chargers announced that his season is over due to a torn ACL. He will face a long rehab and will have to put in some hard work to get back on the field. The Chargers have a hot running back in Melvin Gordon but will need more depth behind him as they are missing Branden Oliver as well.
