Chargers Place Keenan Allen On IR, Activate Bosa

On Sunday the up and coming Keenan Allen hit another spell of bad luck as he injured his knee and was carted off the field. Original reports said the Chargers feared he tore his ACL.

On Monday fans found out the hard truth. The Chargers placed Allen on the injured reserve with an ACL injury. They still have not confirmed a tear, which leaves room for him to return midway through the season should it be a sprain. But Allen's tears told the story of someone who knew their season was over.

The Chargers coupled this bad news with the activatin of Joey Bosa to the 53 man roster. It looks like he is healing nicely from his hamstring and might join practice. He has yet to practice in pads as a Charger and if he is active next Sunday, will most likely be limited to passing downs till he gets up to speed.
