On Sunday Robert Griffin III reminded everyone of what he can do with his abilities. He made some solid throws and showed promise for the season. But he did take some punishment as well.
On Monday we found out that that punishment took its toll. The Browns have put Robet Griffin III on the injured reserve. It appears he has a serious injury to his non-throwing shoulder that will keep him out. The team has stated that he will be reevaluated in 3-4 weeks to see how he feels.
While he is out the Browns will have to choose between Josh McCown and Cody Kessler. Most likely they will start McCown who has shown that he can more than take over when the starter gets injured.
